WOULD YOU BELIEVE...

that in the few short days since my last post there would be another broken bone in our house.  Thankfully just a pinky toe.  But still, Drew will be wearing a boot for the next 4 weeks until it heals.

While she was setting the bone, the doctor said he could use crutches for a week or so if he needed them.  That was the breaking point for me.  I broke out in nervous laughter.  I could not imagine two kids on crutches at the same time.  Thankfully he is walking fine with the boot and didn't need crutches after all.

I am having a pity preventative party today.  Meaning that I have reserved the day for myself to play in my craft room.  I have a bunch of projects that I have been wanting to get to that keep getting sidelined.   So I'm going to try to prevent a meltdown by giving in to my need to be crafty.  I hope it works, and I pray no one breaks a bone in the meantime. :)

Hi! My name is Patricia and I live in Portugal. I own the company that wholesales My Mind's Eye here so that is how I got to your blog, which I love!
I have read today your two recent posts. And what a lesson they are! I thought I was having some bad days, but after reading your posts I just feel blessed.
I have three children, all boys, and right now I just want to go home and hug them, bake some cookies and enjoy life.
Thank you for the life you share with us and the work that you so supremelly do!
